HOSPITAL BAG...still need to get a bag ready for baby hubby n myself...

chapstick, changes of clothing, comfortable jammies for baby to come home in. For you a couple of pretty new nightgowns just to make you feel extra feminine. I don't know what your hospital provides- toiletries for you anyway, I don't know about for your husband. Something to read and to write on. notebook for writing down notes that you want to remember. phone numbers if not in your cell.

camera/batteries, make-up, slippers, hair ties, brush, tooth brush/paste, chargers for phones, plenty of snacks 4 ur hubby and u after u have baby, any birthing plans u have, warm/soft blanket for u (bcz its comfortable), pillow, shampoo & conditioner, paper, pens, and anything else you think helps you be calm comfy, and helps pass time for your entertainment :) good luck momma!!!

Chargers/Batteries if you are taking a camera. A loose top to go home in and some pants that are loose and not your favorite. You don't want to ruin any good clothes, or if its warm you can wear a dress. Magazines or games if you feel like it. toothbrush, hairbrush, deodorant and any other bathroom products you think you will need. Clothes for baby to go home in, pack 2 different sizes in case he/she is bigger or smaller than expected. and a change of clothes for hubby. If you have an ipod or want some kind of music pack it also. Don't forget the chargers for cell phones.

The only thing I used were clothes, a book, and camera. Clothes and a binky for the baby. DH didn't spend the night. You might want a cell but I didn't want any calls so I didn't.

your own pads if you don't like the huge hospital pads
extra underwear in a size bigger so you have room for the huge pad lol
nightgowns
nursing pads if you're leaking
an outfit to take baby home in
a book or something to entertain yourself if you have time, i didn't because i slept when i wasn't tending to the baby
definately a camera & extra batteries
socks or house shoes
a house coat if you're cold natured

Got a portable DVD player? I took mine :) Although it's nothing you NEED while there it was definitely nice to use while laying in the hospital bed. Sure, hospitals have TVs but you can't always watch what you WANT to watch and some hospitals even let you take a laptop! :)
