  • My family and close friends do but if I'm having a party no. I have a 1.5 year old that licks everything so I have to keep the floors really clean.

  • I know a lot of ppl who do, we do not...
we do have hardwood finished floors, and a cream in color carpet in our family room,
but nothing that can not be washed, wiped, or mopped....
Now some of our friends do it's by their choice, but when I meet them at the door, I tell
them we DO NOT have a shoe's off rule here...
I do get some weird looks some times...lol...

  • YES. Started when my kids were toddlers and crawling on the ground. I got so grossed out by where shoes have been in downtown Seattle that now we insist.

  • Nope. Our entry way is brick, so all the mud and dirt gets left there. And I have hardwoods everywhere else. No worries about ruining carpets. A quick mop up and I'm happy again.

  • No because I don't have carpet. But when I go to someone else's house and they have carpet, I take my shoes off.
