Is this racist?

To say that Jeremy Lin was only noticed because he is Asian? Some stupid boxer said this. I cannot remember the name of him.

What do you think?

  • I don't know, it might have been racist but it just sounds stupid to me, sometimes people need to just keep their dumb thoughts to themselves...

  • It isn't a nice comment, but it wasn't a slam on his race....more of a "he's not good enough to be noticed for his ability, he's only being noticed because he is one of the very few Asians in the league"

  • Ahhh ya wait, wasn't he the guy who plays good b-ball? Well, I think the same comment was made about Larry Byrd too cause he was white. IMO, I don't think it was really meant as being a racist remark, its just unusual. I mean I think NBA is primarily black right? Well look at Tiger Woods, hes a black man in a primarily white man sport, and he is damn good at what he does, well aside from getting it on with other women, and getting caught publicly at that!
