Can You Stand Your DH Driving??

Some days no actually most days can't wait to get home. But I hate others around us driving even more. Heck it was so fun to see them get a ticket right in front of us for doing something stupid. We have both been ticket free not easy with all the crazy flying by. PS he is not to happy with my driving either. I'm not use to the bigger car yet, parking is the worse.

  • My favorite is when we are careening down the freeway, way over the posted speed limit and his head is turned to the right or left....WTH- watch the damn road and not the surroundings-

  • Nope he drives like a maniac, follows other cars too closely, switches lanes too often. He drives like it's a competition. Machismo at it's best. He thinks I drive like an 80 year old grandma.

  • My husband is the only person I feel totally safe with when driving. He's been driving for 30 years, has driven just about every vehicle possible (from military vehicles to semis) and is one of the most defensive drivers I know. I hate driving with just about everyone else.

  • Nope, I hate my DH's driving. He drives a little over an hour to get to work one way and the same back. I know he is used to the traffic, but I feel he is a very aggressive driver and it makes me nervous. He used to say it was just me, but my brother in law's brother works with him and needed a ride to work one time. He completely agreed with me!

  • I do 95% of the driving because when I let my husband drive I get car sick. I also don't think he is that great of a driver.

  • On a normal day yes. On wet/snowy days, no. He's one of those overconfident "I think I rule the road" types, and scares the hell out of me when he refuses to slow down on scary roads.

BUT!! I'd take his driving over me driving with him in the car any day. I'm a MUCH better driver...but he doesn't hink I know anything and has to question EVERYTHING I do. It drives me insane and makes me make mistakes!

  • It took me years to get used to his driving and he has not had 2 new vehicles since we have been together. Each time he gets a new car I have to readjust to his driving. Currently I am having to readjust and it is a much bigger vehicle than he has had in the past.
