I agree that she doesn't deserve it. I also believe that if you end up with a career in the public's eye you have an obligation to hold yourself to a higher level of accountability. Kids look up to people in the public eye and having a reputation for doing drugs isn't being accountable.

it doesn't consume my thoughts, and it wouldn't bother me if i lived there.
not a big deal to me.
there are much bigger, more important things to be upset about with our country.

Seriously? OK, she was a good singer and all, but what has she done to deserve having a flag fly at half staff for her? Is that what doing drugs and making horrible decisions gets you these days? While young men and women and men and women with families die for our country every day and don't get that sort of thing?
