That's very possible. I have been married 19 years & did have fertility problems throughout. I still would not just rely on that method if you really do NOT want to get pregnant. I had my Son 5 years ago & since then we haven't used any protection but my DH was being careful & we avoided sex during supposed ovulation time. If it is not an issue for your if you do get pregnant, I would rather use nothing or condoms as opposed to birth control pills or any other birth control method with hormones in it. I was on the pill when I was younger & had some issues with it regarding my health. GL!
