Do you write or phone congressmen about laws, write letters to the editor, speak at board meetings? Do you actually not care if the rights of those who don't practice your religion are protected or not, as long as yours are? Or at the other extreme, do you actively pursue law changes, school policies and social changes that require the rules of your religion to be enforced on others, even if they are not a member of it?
Answer QuestionAside from writing congress and sitting in on local legislature I watch how I vote and refuse to vote for anyone that will strip the religious liberties and freedoms of anyone.(which is not the same as them stripping away the special privileges that go above the law as some have been accustomed to receiving)

Wouldn't this be a foolish stance to take... b/c if someone else's religious beliefs, or lack there of, can be silenced then so can your own!!! What a slippery slop this would be!!

I am in support of the Catholic Church in this latest issue.
Government needs to stay out .
Social "progressives" demand separation of church and state and by dern we need to keep giving it do them!
The State has decided, in it's infinite wisdom, what the Church may not do.
The Church must be able to tell the State what it will not do.
Both ways.
I think the very recent Church has done a good job in this country of trying to get along.
