he's drinkin alot!

my son is 2 and everytime i turn around he wants more juice.

my question is.. why is he drink so much is it normal?

  • good questing i cant help you with that either my DS is the same way i have tried liimitng it but he ends up taking his sisters and drinking hers too :\

  • don't give juice.... give water instead. It could be atten. it could be something else, its winter so the heat could be drying them out but PLEASE don't give all juice give H2O instead (juice can also make you feel thirsty)

  • My two year old twins can be the same way with both their soy milk and juice (one more so than the other).

    I set a limit on juice (which I water down anyway). I fill their cups with 2oz juice and 4-6 oz of water. After that they can have an additional oz of juice with 3-4oz water. If they ask for more to drink, I offer only water. If they're really thirsty they drink and if not, they don't. The rest of the day they drink soy milk or water only. They also don't typically drink juice every day.
