  • Not much. Whatever I wanted I could have. He did help choose some of the candelabrum's I wants black iron he wants bronze so we went with bronze. Either would have gone well with the church we married in (turn of the century old church). He also chose the suits for the guys. But thats about it.

  • Very involved. We were living together already, once I knew I was getting engaged. We both looked at places for the wedding and caterers, flowers, the band, everything. His rabbi ended up marrying us since the rabbi I had grown up with moved away and died several years before getting married.

  • Completely. We woke up, he said "check the weather". It was clear and sunny all day, so he said "Lets go get married, rent a pontoon boat, and take the kids out on the lake!" DONE!

  • IMO my husband was the perfect husband-to-be, he came with me to look at venues, photographers, etc. Let me choose whatever color scheme and decorations that I wanted with a smile and "I think its going to look perfect!" and I never had to argue about wanting something my way and I am pretty sure he was VERY tired of hearing about all the plans but he never let on :)

I say perfect because my sister is engaged and she hasn't gotten to pick out one thing for her wedding except her dress, he won't even let her have the bridesmaid dresses she wants, so in hindsight I had it pretty good!
