What's the point in asking someone if they lie?

  • No shit. Obviously if they lie about one thing, they aren't going to come right out and say, "oh yeah, I lied." I frigging hate liars more than anything.

  • Then again...why ask any question...we are all capeable of a lie...who among us has never told even a tiny white lie to spare someones feelings. If you know them to be a pathological liar..don't bother.

  • That's a silly question, really. ANYONE can lie...not just people who do it regularly. You either trust a person or you don't, you either believe them or you don't....and keep in mind that just because you THINK they lied, doesn't mean it actually happened. Your own paranoia and mistrust can cause you to see everything as a lie, particularly in a person that lied to you in the past. To quote House:
