  • What ever works for your baby. We had to try several different brands and types within those brands for one that agreed with my DD's tummy.

  • there is no 1 best. like coala, what is best is what your baby takes best. it was trial and error for my kids, none of them were on the same formula and it took no less than 3 tries with 3 of them to find what worked best for them.

  • My 1st baby wanted Enfamil and my 2nd wanted Similac....Whatever works for your baby , they will fuss if it doesn't agree. If the formula agrees with your baby, they will seem satisfied

  • If it's a medication, go to the breastfeeding moms group. A lot of doctors are massively uninformed about breastfeeding and how to respond to "issues". As to the formula, whichever your baby tolerates. Personally, if I HAD to use a regular formula (my daughter is on a specialized prescription one), I would use Natures One. I feel they are the only ethical formula company out there.

  • what i did was i ordered free samples from each brands sights and i made them up and tasted each of them and they all tasted nasty and had a strong iron taste except for similac it taste a little sweeter then the rest and was tolerable in taste so thats what i chose to use but with our second we were a little tighter on cash so i did the same for all the store brands and the target brand taste exactly like similac so thats what we used and it was great and cheap and you can get so many target coupons that made it that much cheaper too!!!

  • Formula choice is generally dictated by baby. There isn't really a "best" formula. They're much of a muchness.

You don't have to get into the issues here, but do know that there are very few situations where a mom who wants to continue nursing cannot do so.Please do drop by the breastfeeding moms group if you want some help figuring things out. There isn't much we haven't heard before!
