Have you read the words to MLKJr's I have a dream speech?

We did this as a family lesson today and watched "King" by Tom Brokaw. It was very enlightening.

  • I read it to my children in class, and we went over a history lesson involving Martin Luther King Jr. :-) I love that speech, and admire how well it was spoken.

  • No but I did just watch the whole speech over lunch. They played it on one of the news channels today. It was nice. I had never gotten to see the whole thing before.

  • I've watched it before and I think that it is one of the most inspirational speeches I've ever had the privilege of hearing.

  • Yes I have. Too bad he did not respect his wife as much as he did those he fought for in the civil rights movement. He would have been a great man had he not cheated on her so much.
