Why do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?

  • Why do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters? Why do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage? Why do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight? Why do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering? It's America.. welcome :)

  • Because while the sick people are waiting FOREVER for their RX to be filled...they have time to go back through the store and look at all the crap they saw while walking to the back of the store...LOL

  • That's not the way my drug store is set up...maybe you should reconsider having that be your drug store if they are selling cigs. Mine does not.

  • anon you know that these questions are not meant to be serious right

Answer by jodi205 at 2:59 PM on Jan. 19, 2009

  • Because as they walk through the store, they can spread their germs to other customers and therefore create more business when those people have to get RXs for the same thing in a few days.
