peanutbutter scare?

anyone hear about this and is it all peanutbutter or just a certain brand? I just read to avoid peanutbutter and i just ate a peanutbutter sandwhich yesturday.

  • Jars of peanut butter off the shelf are fine they say. I wouldn't eat peanut butter at a large institution such as schools, cafeterias, or anything like that. I've read that they have recalled Keebler and Austin brand peanut butter crackers as well as some Little Debbie peanut butter items. Some helpful articles:

  • I heard it wasn't the containers of peanut butter...that it was products containing peanut butter like peanut butter cookies or crackers.

  • What I heard it was the Keebler Peanut butter cookies, and the Little Debbies Peanut Butter Crackers, and a couple others, I just cannot remember the names. I know I get the one brand at the discount stores like family dollar and such.

  • Jars of peanut butter are fine. It's a particular company's peanut paste that is used in cookies and peanut butter crackers, etc, that is the problem.

  • I thought I heard Kraft is also affected. Oh,and for all those in MI, OH, Ind. & il Meijer brand PB&J ice cream, PB cup ice cream, PB crackers are also affected. Jars of PB are fine. Had PB&J for lunch today.
