  • I've colored since I was 14yo, played around with various shades and techniques. I didn't start graying until early 30s...which has now, at 43, become the main reason to color. I'm about 15% gray, and most of it is around the front hairline. I 'aearch & destroy' every 4-5wks.

  • I started getting gray hairs around 26. That's way too young! So yes, I color it. I do it myself. I've only gotten my hair professionally dyed once.

  • *I noticed 50 grey hairs in one small area on the top of my head when I was 20 and that was that (though I had already colored it before that - I think it was in the regrowth at the time anyway) My uncle went grey really early too

  • I have curly hair and only have some gray in the front, but the curly hair can hide it sometimes. I do color at the beauty parlor about every 2 -2 1/2 months. My husband and kids call them "little white rabbits" and when I get a coloring the rabbits go back in their den. At almost 54 the process is starting to come a bit sooner but it hasn't spread to anywhere else, just still the top front about a 2 in. radius.

  • I'm 48 and less than 1% of my hair is grey.  I will start to colour when it becomes noticeable.

  • I started dying my hair around 15. I've always enjoyed changing up my color. So, I just continue to dye now. I have no idea what percentage I have gray. Because I see a smidgen of roots & dye.
