"a milk allergy" ??

my son has a little rash around his mouth area. Hes had it on and off for over a month. The doctor said its not milk allergys.. but i dont know wha else it can be...

  • It could just be chapped or irritated because of this cold weather. My oldest son licks his lips a lot and gets a ring around his mouth when it's really cold and dry out.

    Try putting some Aquaphor on the area for a couple days and see if it clears up. Usually kids that have milk allergies get stomach aches associated with throwing up or diarrhea.

  • Is he drooling a lot? Teething? Could be just due to something as simple as that. Probably nothing at all to worry about.

  • Drooling and wetness strip moisture from the skin, its like being chapped. Moisturize with cetaphil or another sensitive lotion and use a petroleum based protectant to prevent wetness from making contact with the skin.
