  • I just weaned my son 2 weeks ago. If you want to do it the least painful way just gradually wean your baby. Here is what I did.

Instead of feeding every 4 hours I would stretch it out as long as I possibly could until I was so uncomfortable. Gradually do this and then I got down to feeding only a couple times a day, then it went to once a day. Just make yourself go longer in between feedings. I knew I was in the clear after not feeding for 2 days....my breasts were really sore but take some tylenol. After a week they stop hurting. I'm still leaking a little bit and they are not sore at all anymore and much softer like before breastfeeding. If you gradually wean its so much better. (I tried the cutting it cold turkey and I hurt really bad).

  • Wrap a towel around your breasts. (You will need help with this). Like you would a girdle. Make really tight. Every time it starters loosening up tighten it again.. Keep doing it. In about a week , your milk should be dried up.Maybe less.

  • I noticed that your bubble says Not making milk like I use to what is wrong? Before throwing in the towel on something so tremendously important how about we work through those issues. What is the problem? You obviously are producing milk or this question would not be posed, so what's up? Please let us help you. It means a lot to baby if no one else!

  • I'd take a little advise from all these ladies. Stop BF. You WILL be sore. Believe it or not the cabbage thing does work. But it doesn't soke anything up, lol.
