Media putting too much pressure on Obama?

Does anyone else feel that the media are putting an unfair amount of pressure on President Elect Obama? He is being compared to some great men (MLK, Lincoln, and JFK). Combined these are very big shoes to fill. Are we setting him up to fail when he cannot live up to our expectations?

  • Nah! He's gonna fail just fine on his own! The media is responsible for this man being our President...52% of the voting public got what they wanted...ENJOY!

  • Yes, &  I think a lot of people are playing right along. However, I don't hear him coming out with any humility refuting it either. If he fails, it has nothing to do with what is being said about him. He will succeed or fail either way.

  • What media pressure? They were mostly responsible for electing him. He will do no wrong as far as the media is concerned.
