Childrens Benadryl...

have any of you gave your little ones this before...? Does it help?

  • it absolutely works. Benadryl, and zyrtec are both wonderful, my daughter has allergies, her DR. put her on zyrtec, if we dont have that we use benadryl!

  • my kids are young almost 2 and 3...i gave them both a 1/2 tsp.. the last time i gave a kid Benadryl it knocked them out for half the day...i just dont want them to start gagging in their sleep and not be able to breath...they both just got over a cold but this is just runny (clear) nose and sneezing and coughing

  • My son has terrible allergies and his Dr. told me to give him Zyrtec OR Benadryl and they both work great, especially when it's time to go to bed. It will put him out like a light! :--)

  • I love it! Especially with the school age kids! It helps them relax and sleep better when they are uncomfortable with poison ivy or allergies. My pediatritian said it's also ok for the baby, following drs dosing instructions. I've used it on him since he was about 6 mo and he does well with it.
