  • Nipples aren't for producing milk--the breasts and mammary glands are. I'm not sure what the purpose of the nipple is but is where teh milk happens to come out of.

  • Both male and female embrios are identical before the surge of the gender hormone of testosterone or estrogen happens. Nature gives the fetus everything the same until that gender assignment comes. The testicles drop down if it is a boy - or stay tucked up inside as ovaries if a girl. Same with the breasts. They are identical until puberty happens for the girl. In the boy they just stay basically glorified sweat glands.

  • 1. For decoration (they'd be kinda funny looking w/o them)
    2. For entertainment purposes (purple-nurples are a safer bet on paying them back for stupid stuff if you're hoping for a little action later on)
    3. Lie detector (you know how they're always using the excuse of "it's not really this bad.... I'm cold" -- yeah well.... if the nips aint pointin'.... ya know....)

  • I go with the sense of humor response. It also explains the duck-billed platypus and the dodo.
