What all do you need to plan a wedding?

I am planning a wedding for a friend of mine and I have some of the things I know I need, but I need to make sure that I have everything that needs to be planned out. This is the first wedding I have ever planned and I am having a hard time finding the things that need worked through online. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

  • Suggest going to a bookstore and looking for "wedding planning" binders. They come with check lists, deadlines for wheyou shoud have things done.. Etc.
Or a book about planning weddings.
Good luck.. I am planning mine right now :)

  • Make sure that the bride has approved your plans. You don't want an upset bride. You'll need to get guests lists from bride and groom, invitations, location for wedding and reception, they need to get a marriage license, flowers for bridal party, outfits for bridal party, band or dj, wedding cake/ grooms cake if needed, food for reception (caterer). I think that about covers it.
