When Can i take a bath...After a c-section?

i had the little one the 29th...healing perfect..when can i take a bubble!!!

i am hella stressed i need bubbles and candles,

  • dont take a bubble bath untill you have had your 6 week chekup! i dont know how healed up you are but you dont want nething getting in a big cut like that ecpecially all the dirt from your body will be in that water and increase your risk for infection. there are other ways to relax..cant think of nething right now but i would advise you to wait till your checkup

  • Sorry to "burst your bubble" (Okay...bad joke!), but I have to agree w/ the other poster. I would wait until after your six week check for a good ol' soak.

  • They told me two weeks with mine. And i took one before my six weeks check up and my c-section was terrible. If your healing fine and it doesn't sting then go for it.

  • I waited a week after my staples were taken out. I think I was told 4 weeks by the Dr so that your incision is closed.

  • i had a HORRID JAGGED NIGHTMARE of staples etc ( 2 yrs ago) when the dr. took the staples out at 6 days said not to take a bath until it had been two weeks from c/s Two weeks.
