Does anyone know the amount deducted per child for the child tax credit?

Can't find it anywhere on the net. knew someone on here would know. Thanks.

  • I think its $1200 or somewhere around there. Not for sure though.

  • It's up to $1,000.00. Could be less depending on how much you made.

  • It used to be $1000 per child. Then if you made under a certain amt, you could get additional money off. Not sure what it is this year. I let the computer calculate my taxes.
