Should gay couples be given the same legal rights as heterosexuals in adopting children?

I believe they should have the same rights.

  • Why shouldn't they be? As long as the love each other and the child is going to a healthy home it shouldn't matter if the parents are gay or straight. What should matter is is this child going into a healthy safe loving home

  • Yes. I don't care if it is a single dad or single mom or a traditional couple or a same sex couple... if they want to adopt a child and can offer a stable and loving home where all needs can be met both financially as well as emotionally then they should be able to adopt. Why would you want to deny a child a home like that?
