Poopy Diapers Help!

My son is a stage one in diapers, he just now weighs a little more than 10lbs. The diapers fit him great, the waist is not too snug or anything.... but sometimes when he poops, it just overflows...sometimes all over his outfit and blankets...
does he need a bigger stage, even though his poundage says stage one?

  • You will have this problem with disposables no matter what brand, no matter what size. At least, I did. And so do most other mamas I know . . .

I use cloth diapers now. No more blow outs!!

  • I'm with epoh. My 7 month old has horrible diareah right now, he has since Saturday morning. I haven't had one blowout. With disposables though, I was getting 2 or 3 blowouts a week with just regular poop.

  • I have the same problem. And yes you will have this problem no matter what size, brand or anything. you should always keep cloth diapers around. I know its nasty to clean, but its better than wasting money on diapers all the time. Good luck.

  • my son has done that twice and i was kinda happy because hes usually so backed up i feel bad it looks painful... but if its happening a lot i would say its not the diapers. hes just really poopy. ask the doctor.
