  • Bottled water is sterile it has to be for a factory/company to be able to sell it. I have 4 kids and I never boiled water for their fomula.

  • You don't have to boil water for baby formula. The only exception is well water. Don't believe me? Read the label on your formula or ask your doctor.

And bottled water is NOT sterile. Many news companies have done studies on just what is in bottled water. If it is "spring water" then it PROBABLY is bottled right out of the ground - and any germs, minerals, or other stuff is still there. If it is just bottled water, it is probably nothing more than city tap water that MAY have gone through an extra filter and that filter MAY have been cleaned and maintained. If it is distilled water, it is more likely to be clean since it should contain nothing but water. But the water is still dispensed into the bottles in open air and a few germs can enter that way.
Can you get actual sterile water? Yes. But you'll need to get it from a medical or laboratory supply company and it is a couple dollars a liter.
