  • mhh our daughter is having a blanket since she was born. when she was a newborn still we used a really light blanket, with the size of a dish towel.

our dd hates sleeping bags, since she is about 6months old she is kicking her way out of those, so she needs to have a blanket.

if you dont want to give your child a blanket, then turn the heater on, because its getting really cold at night. ;)

  • All three of mine had blankets over them from day one. It was too cold for them not to have one.

  • I've used a blanket for my twins since they were around 10 mos old and had outgrown their sleep sacks.
As long as your son can move around on his own he should be fine with a light, small blanket. He probably won't keep a blanket on himself all night anyway so just be sure to dress him warm and keep his room at a comfortable temperature.

  • my son and daughter had a blanket since the day they were born. in the begining, i would let them wear long sleeves so if they crawled out of it, they would atleast still be covered up, and i used a light blanket and i turned the heat up to a comfy temp. for them.

  • He can have a blanket, just make sure it's a baby blanket (smaller in size). I wouldn't put anything in bed with him that he could get stuck under or that is too thick. My son sleeps with 2 baby blankets, one covers him and he snuggles with the other.
