  • My dd takes fish oil supplements now. she is 3....but I would be scared to take them while preggers unless my Dr told me it was ok. I know some varieties of fish oil have mercury which can harm your baby.

So if you want to do this I would talk to your Dr first!

  • I didn't take fish oil while I was pregnant so I would say check with your doctor first. I am taking them now & I love it! I don't think that it could be bad for you to take but check first, just in case.

  • I had a lot of nausea, and couldn't find any that didn't give me a fishy aftertaste. I didn't take it while pregnant, I took it recently for hugh blood pressure and cholesterol.

  • I used this alternative which has the essential fatty acids that you'd get in the fish oil....except it comes from plant sources.
