Job Question - Please Help!

If a job application asks you if you've had any felonies in the last 7 years, but says NOTHING about misdemeanors , will it matter if you have any misdemeanors ?
Thanks!

  • no you only need to list felonies. MOST employers do background checks anyways. Just because you have a felony doesnt mean they wont hire you often it is just to make sure your honest about it but in some situations a felony and even a misdemeanor may rule you out of a job (for instance charged with child abuse and applying for an early childhood educator job) Obviously if they ask be honest but for now dont worry about it. Leave it blank sista!
