  • Did your OBGYN tell you aBOUT THE one little pill women take to get rid of yeast infections? You might ask about it-call and ask about it- and dont drink pop or drink anything or eat anything with alot of sugar in it. Sometimes eating alot of carbohydrates will give you a yeast infection too especially since you are pregnant and your body is hormonally out of whack anyway.

  • OK, for ME garlic helps prevent yeast infections. That may not help now that there is one pending. The yogurt will help relieve the symptoms, but I used a tampon as an applicator, and TAMPONS are NOT OK while pregnant. Best thing you can do is to get on the phone and request a prescription. If you have insurance it will pay for it and it will help quickly. If it is a severe infection, ask for an antifungal cream to apply as well as the Diflucan that will most likely be the prescription of choice. Do not suffer in silence. Get on the phone, get the dr or nurse to call it in for you to the pharmacy. You will feel better quickly.
