  • Stay away from drugs, alcohol, toxic chemicals.

Be sure to eat right, take prenatal vitamins-not that these things cause mc -but they make you stronger for baby growing!

  • You cant... if its going to happen, it will happen. It wont be your fault. Just dont do drugs, drink alcohol, etc. Take your prenatals. Good luck! :)

  • #1 Do Not Stress! thats the #1 cause! don't lift heavy things, stay off your feet as much as possible(if youve had a previous miscarriage)..but im also going to agree w lovinmymikayla..if its gonna happen, its gonna happen. but definately try the other things i suggested if it makes you feel better.. what makes you think you're going to mis carry anyways?

  • Most miscarriages are caused b/c there is either a malformed egg or sperm involved and the fetus would have some kind of deformity. Nothing you do can help this, it'll happen or it won't. It's nature's way of ensuring you have a healthy baby. This being said, still take your prenatals, stay away from all the stuff you're supposed to (drugs, alcohol, hot baths, jacuzzis, deli meat, sushi, tap water, cigarettes, caffeine) and you should be fine! Good luck and don't worry.

  • it's nothing you can do but hope and pray for a healthy baby. lifting things and rough sex doesn't cause a miscarriage although they both may cause some spotting. embryos & fetuses die because of chromosome & birth defects. it usually is nothing wrong with the mother unless it is a later miscarriage.
