pedialyte - refrigerate?

my 14 mo has a mild case of the stomach bug. i know the label on pedialyte says to keep it refrigerated, but i want to keep some in baby's bottle by our bed if he needs it during the night. can i do that, or must i keep the bottle refrigerated, then warm before i give him the bottle? thanks in advance.

  • you can warm it straight out of the fridge. you should refrigerate after opening, unless you keep your house really cold.

  • Get the single serving kind..they come in 8 oz bottles. That way you can just poor it into baby's bottle right before you feed him.

  • Yep, the single serving kind is great. The big bottles must be used within 48 hours of opening and I found I was throwing some out with every bottle.
