jump rope!!

How good is this for losing weight and such?? I'm about 70+ pounds overweight and I'm looking for an easy way to start out.

  • jumping rope and other things will help you just have to be consistant oh an its about maintaing a a steady pace not killing your self. excercise at a pace that elevates your heart rate and breath faster. You don't have to hurt your self. just be steady and consistant

  • It's very good. Jump roping is cardio and cardio is the BEST exercise to burn fat and calories.
    Anything fast pace is cardio. Anything that gets your blood pumping and heart beating.

  • well i have been jumproping 3 times a week for well this is the third week it was hard at first i started by 5 min. intervals i too neet to loose like 70 lbs. anyway now i can jump rope for 15 min without stopping and i have lots of fun doing it i definetly break a sweat. good luck..oh i havent lost any weight yet im hoping maybe in a month or something

  • If you are trying to lose weight. You have to burn 3500 calorie to lose 1lbs. I suggest eating right and burning more calories then your eating. Here is a website that will help you figure out how many calories your are using per activity.

  • The best way to lose weight consistently is to walk on a daily basis...i usualy get on a treadmill at an incline for 20 mins a day...i lost 15lbs in 2 months...but remember, fitness comes in a have to eat right AND excercise to lose the weight. good luck
