  • I've had my share of SAH times....though I'm not technically SAH.

    Wake up around 7
    take potty
make oatmeal and juice for breakfast
clean up/take potty and clean baby too!
tidy up around house/let baby help
    play in his room/tidy up
lunch time! either leftovers/sandwich/something semi healthy!
my time, soap opera, he's welcome to bring toys to the living room and chill with me
time to pick up my older child from elementary
snack time, cheese and crackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (LOL joke from Jon LaJoie!)
now it's decision time, make dinner and leave it ready for husband when he gets home, at this point I usually have to get to work or school, so..........................or I can leave nothing and they graze or husband makes something, he's a genius so either way I don't worry!
night time....bath, brush teeth, book, bed, the 4 Bs!

  • There's a lot of take potty in between...this is the best I can come up with plus my son does not take a nap, he's just about 2.5 years old as well.

  • I've only been a SAHM for 20 days so we're still working on the routine. Times are estimates and fluctuate...we focus on routine, not schedule.

8am - nurse in Mommas bed then brush teeth
    Breakfast
    Get dressed
Start laundry or dishwasher if necessary
Run errands/attend playdates (snack at some point, usually around 10am)
12ish lunch and then "quiet time" or nap
12-3 - I exercise, clean, hobbies, my "break" time
    3pm get up, snack
play (usually this is the time for play doh or other "messy" things)
5ish Roo plays while I start dinner
6ish dinner (whenever Dadda gets home)
    7:30ish - bathtime, playtime upstairs
    Bedtime
