  • Ask for references first!!!! Give her some situations and have her answer how she would deal with them.....ask her if she knows age appropriate shows for your child/children....does she know basic first aid???.... how many babysitting jobs has she had and why did she leave them....ask her how she plans on entertaining your child/children while she watches them... Most of all let her spend some time with them while u do dishes or cook dinner and she how your child acts i mean u wont get to know her in that time but u will be able to see how quick your child warms to him/her

  • I would want to meet her and her parents. Make sure she has taken babysitter training, and really enjoys kids. If she comes highly recommended by a good friend, that's helpful. Otherwise, the references really need to be solid.
