WHat kind of breast pads did/do you use?

I need a GOOD breast pad that holds a good amount of milk before it leaks. I am using gerber ones right now and they just are not working. Any suggestions would be great. thanks

  • Lily pads- reusable silicon pads. You do not leak because it makes a seal over the skin.

  • I used the little fabric ones that could be washed and used over. The disposables did not work for me as well.

  • I do not like the gerber ones at all, they are way too thin for me. I am a heavy leaker. It never ends. I use Johnson's. I think they hold the most, plus they are not wrapped individually in plastic. They also have washable ones.

  • Lansinoh!! I don't have to use them anymore but I compared a few and they are the best! IMO I had the Gerber brand and yeah they are not so hot and so small! I don't think you will be unhappy with Lansinoh, they remind me of a good diaper because they are thin yet they draw the moisture away and can hold a fair amount before leaking. Too bad I don't know where you are and fat chance you are in TN because I have an almost new box that I never got to use because I quit leaking! Anyhoo, hope this helps!! :)

  • I used Avent. That was before I jumped on board with the cloth. I have small breasts and the Avent were the only ones that didn't make it look like I had stuffed my bra. With my next baby I will use cloth!

  • I used the lansinoh ones while I was leaking really bad (I formula feed). Never leaked once.
