Anyone know of a good daycare in West Broward area (Davie, Plantation) for my 16 month old?

Please help

  • i cant tell you what a good daycare in that area is, but i can tell you things to look for when you go tour different centers to pick the right one. i worked in daycare and there is a lot of things to look for when youre touring. watch out for teacher to child ratio. usually for that age its one teacher to every 5 kids in most states. Make sure there are plenty of toys. there should be different developmental toys, from physical activity, to small motor skill work. check their diaper changing tables to make sure theyre safe, and ask what their diaper changing procedures are, the teacher should be weearing gloves. ask where food is stored and how often things are disinfected. also, ask about naptime, where the kids sleep and if they have their own personal cot or crib theres lots of lil things you want to look for, its tedious but its worth it
