  • It won't change anything. If anything, it will make it worse. There will be AA trying to throw their weight around while C people will be afraid for their lives. It will make racial tension worse than it ever was. The country isn't ready for a "black" man. However, we have a MIXED man. If people would realise that little fact, and acknowledge it, then we might have a chance at easing tensions but not eliminating them.

As far as what he's going to do to help the country. I'm just gonna ride out the next 4 yrs and hope we aren't stupid enough to re-elect him. I'm willing to bet nothing will get done that he 'promised'. We'll be in an economic slump for at least 2 of his 4 years. We'll still be overseas, won't be able to buy ammo and abortion will probably be legalized as well. Gotta love having a baby killer in office.

  • Ignoracne? I guess it won't change that, but it will help our citizens be more tolerating of different races, religions and ethnicities. Prejudiced people NEED to realize that a doesn't take a good white man to run a country, it takes a good man or woman of any race to run a country that is so powerful.

  • cause they must be ignorant if they think that...right. really just cause he looks black doesn't mean he is or that will change peoples heart. i'm sure there is a black man down the street but him being black hasn't changed the hateful people out there now has it so why would a black president be any different. what of martin luther king jr. now he was just as great as man as can be an black too. he made changes but hate still thrives. if he was alive and ran for president that is who i would of chosen.

  • It wont cange anything. It may change a small percentage of minds but it wont change much of anything. The main racism problem are blacks and whites. Black racist against whites and the other way around. Black people upset bc of how others were treated in the past. I understand your race was tortured but your not get over it not all white people are out to get you. And white people get over yourself your no better then any other race. And not all black people are assholes that cant get over a past they didnt even experience. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DONT CARE ABOUT COLOR ...
