Any idea why my 3 month old is only sleeping 15 minutes at a time today?

Growth spurt? Teething maybe?

  • Could be growth spurt. Has the baby been acting more hungry than normal? My 3 month old was doing this yesterday. 15 minute cat naps throughout the day, and wanting to be fed more often than normal. I'm expecting her to stretch any minute.

  • Oh totally Mommy! He is hungry constantly. He is 3 months and wears 6 month clothing. Yikes if he grows again lol.

  • My now 11 month old son was never a good napper at that age. He didn't start taking goo naps till recently. He was a cat napper, only napping 15-20 minutes at a time through out the whole day. And that's 20 minutes on a good day!

  • OP, mine is getting into the 6 month clothing too at 3 months. She was a bigger baby than her sister when she was born, but I'm totally expecting her to be bigger over all. I'd say as long as he's happy, and not acting like he's in pain, then he's probably gonna have a growth spurt. This is around the age for it!

  • Mine kiddo cut his first tooth at 4 months - if he's drooling like crazy, he could be teething early... but most likely a growth spurt!!
