Our son used to have issues with waking during the night. Our pediatrician recommended that we make his bedtime closer to 8:30 pm to see if that helps. IT DOES- he sleeps all through the night! The problem is that it takes us from 8:00 until 9:00 to get him to fall asleep!!!!!! We have a VERY regular bedtime routine...he just doesn't seem ready to fall asleep until 9:00 pm! (I'd be okay with that, but isn't that terribly late for a toddler?????) He gets about 12 hours of sleep per day (with his nap), and he is a VERY PLEASANT little guy. However, my hubby and I NEVER get a second together in the evenings because it takes so long to get our son sleeping! Help!!!!!Answer Question

An hour or two before bed, you should stop all activities. Make it relax time. Then bath time before bed, with know playing. Kids who do a lot of playing running around before bed ,will make it more difficult to sleep.
