Are there any healthy finger foods I can give my 8 month old?

  • Start giving him pieces of what you're eating.

    We started finger foods at about 6 months and started giving puffs, cheerios, graham crackers at first.

  • i haven't gotten there yet, but have you seen those netting things? i got some because a friend recommended them. you can stick food in them, and baby can suck on it, they can even be frozen.

  • banana, avacado, puffs, teething bisquits, cooked peas/carrots tiny pieces, cherios, gerber makes those meat sticks that are without skin- they smell horrible but both my kids loved them!

  • The puffs are a great thing to give your baby. My son will be 8 months in about a week and isn't too intersted in them yet. The doctor also recommend the teething biscuits you can get at the store is a good thing to start for them.

  • I heard of the teething biscuits but havent used them...guess ill give them a try. Thanks ladies
