when do you stop formula

  • 1 year. After you stop formula its whole milk. If the child has a hard time switching to milk you can slowly add more and more milk into the formula each time.

  • we stopped feeding our dd formula when she was on solids... we gave her more solids week by week and when she was about 9-10 months old she only got one bottle of formula during the day (usually in the morning)... and since she was almost 12 months old we stopped formula completely.

  • We stopped at 9 months under the guidance of our pediatrician....the boys were on all table foods and eating a varied, balanced diet.

  • I switched when my son was one. He hates JUST the milk so we water it down just a tad and he likes it. Its kinda hard on his tummy so the water helps a whole lot. Just an idea if your toddler wont take to it.

  • not until 14 months because she HATED the milk..and i had to give her something she eventually weaned herself off of it and started taking the milk and as well weaning herself off the bottle.... but they reccomend it at 1yr
