What can i do about areas of high traffic smashing down the carpet? The vacuum doesn't have quite enough suction-what else can i do?

  • I'd probaby use a carpet runner, a long piece of carpet over the area on top of the carpet. But that isn't really a solution. I don't know other than washing the carpet, and I wouldn't do that, myself. I don't suppose you could comb the area?- seems like a lot of work though.

  • i heard on hgtv one time that if u put an ice cube on a spot where say the legs of a table or chair have been....that the ice will pop out the carpet...i duno about a large areas tho...
