What would you charge?

My daughter is doing a fundraiser this weekend to help her cover a school trip this fall. She is selling creps at a large outdoor camping gear exchange. The creps are all homemade (she has a foodhandlers permit ) and she will be offering sweetened cream cheese, a strawberry sauce, whipped. Butter and cinnamon sugar as toppings.
What would you pay?

  • I agree with the $4-$5 range. I wouldn't personally spend more than $5 though.

  • It depends on how big the crepes are.

  • Our creps are about 9" you guys are way more generous than we were thinking. We were thinking .50-1.00 each including 1 topping each additional topping. 25

  • Wow, you were thinking low - I'd say at least a few dollars. With the price you were thinking and what everyone's saying, in the $3 range sounds good. I expect to pay slightly more for a fundraiser, and the size sounds pretty big.

  • I think you would sell a lot, but that you would be pricing them too low. I wouldn't go lower than $2 period, but maybe a cinnamon sugar one for $2 and additional toppings for $1 more?

  • I do some work for a local chain of cafes. Their crepe prices run from $4.50 for lemon and sugar, to $7.50 for ham and cheese

  • Our local ice cream parlor does crepes and they charge $5.75 for nutella filled ones with whipped cream. You can probably get at least $3 each.

  • You will to provide a plate and a fork and a napkin.
I would serve a nice crepe for $3.00 depending where you live
You also might want to offer a 2 for $5.00 plate
