  • I'm not sure how to take this question.
Either you already drank and the baby was on the breast and now sleeping longer then usual and your worried - OR your thinking of drinking so the baby can get some and sleep alittle longer, which is 100% wrong!!!

  • if you mean caffiene, no. if you mean alcohol, hell no. its just how your baby is... its his/her temperment and only sleep habits can change that. please dont risk hurting him by transferring anything but health and nutrition through your body to him.

  • well i dont know about that. but i heard that if you drink for example alcohol drinks, just dont give your baby breast milk for ...maybe 2 days or so. and maybe pump out the breast milk in those two days n throw out.

  • It may make the baby sleep longer but this is not something you should do to MAKE a baby sleep longer. Alcohol is a poison and will damage the baby's developing brain. Which is more important - your nightcap and a few extra hours of uninterrupted sleep OR your baby's brain which is so easily damaged for life?

  • It will go into the breastmilk. When I was breastfeeding and I was drying up the doc said that having ONE eight oz beer would help...But if your wanting your baby to sleep longer b/c you want to...Ask someone to babysit or something.

  • Not good for baby. If you want to drink, pump after.

  • If your breastfeeding, whatever you eat and drink your baby eats/drinks as well. It is probably not a good idea to have more than one drink as you dont want to sedate your baby. If you do have a drink (or more) pump and dump afterwords. Also if you need extra rest, dont try to make your baby sleep longer to get it, thats dangerous. Call a "grandma" or get a sitter. Good Luck

  • Never drink alcohol and breast feed. Everything you ingest go through your milk everything.
