Braxton hicks..

this is my 3rd baby. my other two daughters are 2 and 3 so i dont really remember and i have a really bad memory this time around..i call it my preggo alzheimers...lol..my question is, how many of you experience Painful braxton hicks contractions?? last night was the first night for BH and they were very painful..it went on for 3 hours and i was too tired to count how far apart they were to see if there was a pattern. if i was a first time mommy, i definately would have made the trip to the hospital thinking they were real..im 27wks.. thanks ladies

  • Sounds about right that you would experience bh at this point in the "game" lol. If you start having them again drink a glass of water and move around a little bit or take a bath. If they dont go away they are normally actual contractions. Being dehydrated or stressed can bring them on. Its also your body's natural way to help prepare for the birth of your baby!

  • yeah, i was trying the water thing..i actually thought it was just a stomache ache at first. i was too tired to try taking a bath..it started at 130 in the morning..right when i went to bed. and the baby would Not stop moving the entire time!! another flag it must have been BH..if it were real contractions baby would be moving wayyy less or not at all
