I have a lot of bananas!!! HELP

You can make banana bread and freeze the extra loafs, smoothies, or ice cream.

You can freeze bananas in the peel if you plan on cooking with them later (ie banana bread). My mom's been doing it for years and it doesn't affect the flavor.

I cut them up and and freeze them 2/bag to use later for smoothies ;o)

I would peel them and freeze them and then when the weather gets hot use them to make smoothies! Frozen banana + OJ; frozen banana + apple juice; frozen banana + OJ + fresh summer strawberries; frozen banana + anything else you can think of! Blueberries, coconut milk, cinnamon, peanut butter, cocoa, yogurt... pick any combination that looks yummy to you! :o)

1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup butter
3 cups white sugar
3 eggs
6 very ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking soda
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease four 7x3 inch loaf pans. In a small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup white sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Dust pans lightly with cinnamon and sugar mixture.

1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup walnut pieces (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 9x5 inch loaf pan.

When my bananas start to go brown and yucky, I pop em in the freezer. It's so easy to make things like banana bread when you have thawed bananas instead of fresher ones. I just made banana cake for my son's birthday party on the weekend - thanks to some thawed bananas.
