I am looking at prespective preschools for my son, and I cannot believe how expensive it is!
They range from over 400 dollars a month to 175. So I am wondering what most people pay. Please share!!
In my area, the range for 3 or 4 year old preschool is from 320-500 a month. Most of these are open from 6:30 am-6 pm with the preschool part being from 8;30 am-12 (the other times are pretty much "daycare"). For Pre-K, it is free from 8-2 as long as it is a state funded pre-k.

It's very hard to find "part time" care in my area. There are a few churches that offer Moms morning out programs and if I remember correctly it was $80 a month for once a week drop off for 3 hours and $160 a month for twice a week drop off for 3 hours. For part time daycare/preschool, it is $25-$30 a day.
