Was your baby over the "normal" weight percentile?

  • All my kids were all under the weight and over the height medians. Those are just averages.

  • Yes. They always were. And they each weighed over 9 1/2 pounds when they were born. They're both very tall.

  • Mine is always in the 95%...so yes. She doesn't miss a meal. =) Don't worry about it though...babies vary widely at this age and their weight now has little to do with their weight later on.

  • My daughter is too in the 95th percentile since she was born. She is also very tall, but very lean. Always been taller than average & she is vegetarian. Glad to know she can still grow without the animal protein.

  • My son has stayed about the 75th percentile and my daughter was always between 95th and off the charts...so yes!

  • All three of mine were above the 50th percentile.....and still are.

    Even the youngest...my 36 weeker was born at 7lbs.

  • my son weighed 10.5 a birth and is now 2 months and weighs 14.5
