5 second rule

Do you live by this rule...or if it hits the ground is it automatic trash in your house? I am speaking of food just to clarify.

  • Depends on what it is. If it's something hard and dry that you can blow off or wash off, it's a keeper. If it's something that's wet or soft, it goes in the trash.
And, it depends on where it fell.

  • If it is wet type food it goes in the trash right away. If it is hard surface type food, the 5 second rule applies.

As for the questions it depends on the food and how clean the floor is that day but generally yeah 5 second rule is good!
